Fountain Gallery Celebration

More than 200 appreciative guests were in attendance at the seventh End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration, which was held at the offices of Ellen Philip Associates on West 26th Street in Manhattan on June 4, 2010.

The inviting space was transformed into an art gallery for this unique evening of cocktails, delicacies, and art to benefit Fountain Gallery, the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness. 100 original artworks by Gallery artists were displayed for sale.

The event honored Karen V. Danielson, Shareowner Services Manager, The Coca-Cola Company.

The evening’s Co-Chairs and Hosts were Cal Donly, Carl Hagberg, and Ellen Philip. The End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration was established in 2004 by Carl T. Hagberg and Associates and Ellen Philip Associates to bring together professionals from the financial services and related industries to celebrate the end of the grueling "proxy season," while raising funds for Fountain Gallery.

Guests viewed a dazzling array of paintings, drawings, photographs and mixed media pieces presented on easels throughout the space, while partaking of made-to-order sushi by Erik Hagberg of "Cape Sushi" and Caribbean specialties by Evan Hall of "My Belizean Gourmet." At evening’s end, many departed the festivities with newly acquired artwork to add to their collections.

The End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration has grown since its inception to attract an ever- wider circle of supporters, and the generous support of a number of sponsors made this year’s event possible.
