Fourth Arts Block Party
06/17/2010 - By New York, NY

Fourth Arts Block Party

Fourth Arts Block, leadership of the East 4h Street Cultural District, threw a one of a kind party on June 17, 2010 in the penthouse of The Cooper Square Hotel.

The space, generously donated by owner Klaus Ortlieb, started out bright and sunny with clear glass walls and a roof-deck from which you could get a 360 degree view of New York City. As the evening progressed and the sun started to set, FAB didn't waste any of that view and even enhanced it with performances by Sidra Bell Dance happening simultaneously on the rooftops of East 4th Street and the hotel. Meanwhile, in one of the venue's more private rooms, fortune tellers of all different mediums (pun intended!) were telling guests what their future with FAB held. Once the sun was set, and the delicious hors d'oeurvres, also provided by the establishment, had disappeared into hungry mouths, guest enjoyed the twinkling city lights while bidding on silent auction items starting at scandalously low amounts.
